#2076 closed defect (wontfix)

Unable to enter greater colony

Reported by: SF/mr_jrt Owned by: fingolfin
Priority: normal Component: Engine: SCUMM
Version: Keywords: script
Cc: Game: Indiana Jones 4

Description

I'm using the talkie version of Indy 4, and I'm at the point where I need to align the sun and moonstones in order to enter the greater colony. I have both stones and according to the lost dialogue I need to align them "with darkest night healed by the full moon". I take this to mean that I need to align the darkness symbol on the sunstone with the full moon symbol on the moonstone with the red horns.

I do this, but the game tells me that nothing happens. In fustration I've tried several other combinations, none of which have worked.

I've done this game before and I don't remember any funny tricks here...so is this a bug?

I'm using the official March 27 2005 Win32 build of ScummVM 0.7.1 on WinXP SP2

I'vew also attaached a savegame

The Sun Stone has to be aligned in the same position like in the smaller colony. After this you have to follow the instructions for the Moon Stone. The Sun Stone has to stay in the same position in all 3 colonies. Unfortunately the save game didn't appear. And maybe this issue could also be solved in the forum, since at least in my opinion it is no bug (at least no ScummVM bug ...).

This is defeinitly not due to a bug in ScummVM.

My humblest apoligies, my bad. You know, that solution hadn't even occurred to me and the wallkthroughs I consulted to check that I wasn't imagining the problem need to be re-worded for clarification a tad :(

Ho hum, finished it now ;)

Best wishes and thanks for your work on the project.
