ALL/SFX: Setting the SFX volume at 256 mutes sound

In ScummVM launcher, set the SFX volume slider of
Simon 1 or 2 to the max (256) and listen to the intro --
the sound effects and speech are muted. If you set it to
255, no problem. The Music slider doesn't seem to be
To be honest, it also happens in a couple other games
(Broken Sword 1&2) but it works in others (The Dig
Demo). Since it doesn't seem to affect every game, I
decided to file my report in the Simon bug page. All I can
remember is that it's a recent behaviour (less than two
weeks ago, but my hamster ate my homework, my
provider went AWOL and I couldn't report it earlier, etc).
Win2K+SP4. Win32 CVS build (1615K exe file, last
update: January 21, 2005, 4:04 pm).
