does n e one know why BASS wont save. i keeps saying error. can n e one help here?

It would help if you mentioned which version of ScummVM you are using. Since you say there is an error message, I assume it's 0.6.1 or 0.6.1b, since I believe earlier versions would fail silently. 0.6.1 had an annoying bug which would cause the problem you describe on newly added games, but it *should* be fixed in 0.6.1b.
Of course, you could be describing a completely different bug with similar symptoms, in which case I don't have any further ideas.
