Description
I don't know if this is a minor bug or not, but you have to point the cursor at your character's name, otherwise what you have typed disappears during character creation.

What do you mean by that exactly? Its true that you have to hover the cursor over the characters name. Otherwise, the window is no longer active and you can’t type anything. Thats also how it works in the original version.
Yes, but if you aren't hovering the cursor over it, the text disappears. I couldn't even test original behavior because the game has MANY issues on newer systems. You can't even name your character if you are using Windows 11.
Edit: I have tested it with the latest version of AGS and the text doesn't disappear, so it isn't original behavior.

Strange, for me the game in its original interpreter works flawlessly in Win 11. Nonetheless, I was able to check the original behavior. In the original interpreter, when not hovering the cursor on the name, its font just should turn to black instead of red and the indicator that you can type should disappear.
That means in ScummVM that exact transition is broken (most likely the text becomes transparent with no color specified).

I didn't try to play through it fully on modern hardware/system, but the game has issues with the speed, especially during combat. There is also only a black screen in fullscreen and the keyboard doesn't work. Also the game was designed with CRT monitors in mind and it would need aspect ratio correction on modern monitors. Running the game with ScummVM fixes all of these issues.
Edit: Deleting acsetup.cfg fixed the issues with the keyboard and fullscreen mode.
