Chewy Esc from F5 inventory problem

Description
When something of the inventory is selected and then, when in the main game area, gets moved to the left, where the selected item is shown, and clicked on it with this item - it vanishes in the inventory. I have not tried this everywhere, neither have I checked if it gets resolved by itself at some point; it's just a major issue.

I haven't tested the 2026.3.1, but if the bug was obviously already reported, you guys are on it. Keep up the good work, you do a great job! Many thanks!!

Which version of ScummVM are you testing with and on which platform?
If the issue persists in the latest stable (2026.3.0) Have you also tested with a recent daily developer build (2026.3.1git)?
A similar (or the exact same?) issue was recently fixed. See: https://bugs.scummvm.org/ticket/16622
This may be only available in developer builds, but will be part of the next stable release.
