Myst3: Unable to Move Camera When Putting Symbols in Projector Scanner
| Reported by: | wataniyob | Owned by: | antoniou79 |

Description (last modified by )
When scanning symbols into the projector room in J'nanin to unlock Narayan, you are not allowed to move the camera when you should be able to. This results in you not being able to see the scanner mechanisms moving depending on your camera's view when you dragged the symbol page onto the scanner.
Steps to reproduce:
- Unlock the projectors in the central tusk on J'nanin
- Finish any one of the lesson ages (i.e., Amateria, Voltaic, and Edanna) and get one of the three symbols recorded on a page
- Drag the symbol page onto the scanner after returning to J'nanin
ScummVM version: 2026.2.1git25414-g975ae070509
Language: English
Version of game: DVD, game files from GOG
OS: Windows 10 build 19045.7184, 64-bit

Correct misspelling of ScummVM in description.

Nice catch. I was wondering about this one, but something had given me the impression that this was how the original behaved too. Which is not the case; the original seems to allow moving the camera (not sure if freely), at least until the projector movie starts playing:

I intend to look into this in the following days (if work permits and if no one beats me to it).

Could you please check starting with tomorrow's daily dev build that the behavior is fixed and matches the original.
If you spot an inconsistency, I'd like to fix it.

Looks mostly good, only change that's probably needed is that for the third symbol the camera doesn't remain locked on the bridge when its extending animation is playing. It forces your view towards the bridge, but then (incorrectly?) unlocks the camera while the bridge is extending.

Save file at the J'nanin central tusk with three unscanned symbols
