Saving while the Zork Rocks candy have been set to explode with Slam Classic and then reloading results in a game breaking condition. They're supposed to explode after a number of seconds (you're meant to put them in a nearby locker). However, the timer is invalidated, thus resulting in an explosion that never occurs.
@Tom McEwan confirms the ZVision engine is finicky if saving while a timer is running, and it's likely the original game didn't allow saving in the first place.
Uploading the corrupt saved file in case it helps (right in front of the lockers with the "activated" candy).
