TWP: Control problems on Knulli (OS) / Trimui Brick console

Knulli Gladiator II on Trimui Brick

No cursor control in game or in global main menu. When touching down or right on the emulated left analog stick, the cursor will uncontrollably travel to the bottom right of the screen. No other cursor response can be generated and can't access gmm in game to change keymaps.

Does the issue occur only in Thimbleweed Park? Have you tried other games ?

I only have this problem on Thimbleweed park. When I edit the keymaps on the scummvm.ini file I can stop the drift but still have no cursor on the menu or on-screen key board so I can't save.

Can you give me the name of a game where you can't reproduce the problem in ScummVM?

I've tested over a hundred games in scummvm on the brick with knulli. Here are a few: Abscission, Amazon Guardians of Eden, The Beekeeper's Picnic, Beyond the Edge of Owlsgard, Blackwell Unbound, Broken Sword, Dreams in the Witch House, An English Haunting, Eye of the Beholder, Halls of the Dead, Gabriel Knight, Heroine's Quest, Hoyle Solitaire, Inherit the Earth, King's Quest AGD remake, Lands of Lore, Kyrandia 2, Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes 1, Mage's Initiation, Metaphobia, Nancy Drew Secrets Can Kill, etc.

None of them had an issue with the emulated mouse cursor not working in the gmm. If there is a specific game or engine that you are looking for, I can see if I have it.

Have you tried any 3D games? Such as Grim Fandango, Myst III or The Longest Journey

I just tried the Longest Journey and it is also missing a cursor in the gmm. I don't have any other 3d games.

The Longest Journey is still playable though because I can save and exit through the in-game menu but TWP does not have access to the in-game menu making the gmm mandatory for saving/exiting.
