Running English Windows version of Muppet Treasure Island. On the very first screen of the game (after the intro sketch and opening credits) there's a very tall stack of dirty dishes on the left side of the screen. The intended behavior is that the player can click on the stack, which causes a dish breaking sound and switches the sprite to a slightly shorter stack. Player can click on it until there's no more dishes to break. After some moments following the last click, the stack "grows back" by rapidly playing through all sprites and returning to its original form.

In the future 2.9.0 stable version there's a bug which makes the dishes stack rapidly cycle through all sprites regardless of player actions. This does not happen in version 2.8.1, so it appears to be a regression.
