Description
In Global Settings > Backend you can choose the preferred touch mode for menus. Currently, setting it to 'Touchpad Emulation' makes it use 'Direct Mouse' and vice versa. The 2D and 3D Games options work correctly, it's just the Menus.

Could you please explain exactly the steps to reproduce and the observed behavior? We checked the latest build and see no oddities there.

From the launcher screen: Global Options > Backend > Choose Preferred Touch Mode: change the selection for In Menus to either option

It seems there is a misunderstanding here.
The toggle icon shows what is currently enabled.

Gotcha, sorry for the confusion. I think a lot of my games had the ‘override global backend’ setting checked and had touch mode set to default without me realizing it, which then made me confused on which touch setting was called what. Sorry, thanks!
It would be nice go get fixed before the release
