I don't know if this is a ScummVM thing, or an original bug. In chapter 5 (Constitutional Convention), after Franklin printed his pamphel, I first went to the attic. On returning back, I clicked on the pamphlet to pick it up, and Pepper started spinning as she walked. See attached video.
Once she had picked it up, things went back to normal again.
