Currently, to properly detect the multilanguage DVD version, the user is supposed to move and rename the language file, as indicated on the Wiki.
The process is quite convoluted and multiple bugs have been opened in regard (see 14513, 13979, 13945, or the currently open 13039)
It would be preferable to support the original layout, if possibile.
