If run Gobliiins 5 on Android Scummvm 2.8.0 (Pixel 4A - Android 11) there is a bug in the game where all the fonts and menus on the intro screen are black. The same goes then when you start the game all the characters and items are also black (like shadows).

If I run the game on Scummvm 2.8.0 on Windows 10 or android devices like HTC One M9 (Android 7.1) or on tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (Android 11) and the game runs without any glitches.

I also tried with the version from and got the same result.

I cannot fully reproduce this issue.

However, on two physical devices I'm seeing a glitch during moving the ScummVM app to the background or restoring it from the background while playing this particular game, whereby the fonts and characters turn black momentarily (this is on a RedMi 9 Note, Android 12) or they appear to have a white-ish glow (this is on a Huawei MediaPad M5 10 tablet, Android 9).

This glitch seems to happen only in this game (of the titles that I could test), as of yet, and it might be connected to the original reported issue.

The glitch happens in 2.8.0 (release) and 2.9git (today's) daily dev debug build

It seems that commit 6342045cc3e23dc9f685241d89ad3da478885f70 fixed it.
