AGS: Crash during final encounter with the Countess (blackwell2)

Description

In Blackwell Unbound (blackwell2), the game crashes during the final encounter with The Countess.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Load the attached save
  2. Click on the Countess

Joey will start talking to the Countess, who will respond with the line

No! The... connection is gone! I cannot save you.

Then ScummVM crashes. There is unfortunately nothing in the scummvm.log file to indicate what went wrong.

The save is from blackwell1, anyway I can confirm the issue.
It's not a crash but a failed assert when accessing the character ViewLoop vector.

I have a hunch that this could happen in upstream too, but I haven't checked yet

Oops, sorry, I uploaded the wrong save. I'm attaching the correct one.

I'm not sure what you mean about this not being a crash; ScummVM unexpectedly quits when this point is reached.

Confirmed, it is now fixed in daily 2023-06-02.
