Version: German CD

At least in the German CD version, the low latency mode still has some bugs. Compare the first few lines of the observatory worker between the mode not enabled and being enabled. Each new line has a short stutter at the start if low latency is enabled (the first line in the German version doesn't count, since that one has a recording error out of the box).

Ugh... I have fiddled around with this for days but I can't understand what's causing the stutter. The subsystem providing audio for The Dig cutscenes is something in between of the Full Throttle SMUSH audio system and the iMUSE system (as it actually calls the latter several times), so it's not as easy to check what's effectively going on when audio data is being passed around the output buffers.

Since we're approaching a new release cycle I have just updated the tooltip of the low latency mode (only use when really needed!) and I'll lower the priority for this ticket at the moment...
