The music does get screwed up after coming back from the game-internal screensaver. The currently payed music for some reason does restart at the beginning (which also should logically not happen), but parts of the music are either distorted or missing entirely. Normal change of background music by walking into a different room doesn't fix it, either a special event that changes the music has to happen, or the world map has to be entered.

Good example: Enter the corridor of S&M office, then let the screensaver activate. Once you come back from it, the music is screwed up. Trigger the scene with Flint Paper, and the music is back to normal.

Tested with the music setting on General Midi.

I am really not able to replicate that on both italian and english CD versions, on the current master 2.7.0git. Did you try the latest snapshot?

The screensaver triggers a game save action, and when the user moves the mouse again, the savestate gets reloaded and the music is reloaded properly too, starting from where it was before the screensaver started.

2.7.0git fixed the problem which existed in 2.6.1, thus this can be closed.
