ULTIMA8: smart navigation during cut scenes makes game unplayable after a transition

In the save 123,

  • walk to enter to the city,
  • once the guard stops you, use middle mouse to enter the city anyway
  • you are now in the city, only middle mouse works, nothing else
  • try leave the city with middle mouse, guard is there stuck, same situation, only middle mouse works

Thanks for the report! This should be fixed by commit 8e7c405 and will be available in the next release.

Note: this prevent the middle-click path finding specifically. If there are other ways to break the cutscene, the stasis flag would still be set.
