#13776 closed defect (invalid)

Only some features of the game are working. When I submitted a post to the forum and received a reply, I was told I do not have permission to access the forum.

Description (last modified by sev-)

I am trying to play the game "Backyard Baseball" (1997) using ScummVM. I downloaded the file "BASEBALL.ISO" from [this website.](*REDACTED*) I loaded the file into ScummVM, and I was able to open it!

However, not all the features of the game worked. I made a list of what did and did not work, then I made a post on the help forums explaining this. I set it up to send me email notifications whenever someone replied to the post.

Today I received an email claiming that someone had replied to my post. I clicked the link to view the reply, only to be told by the page, "You are not authorised to read this forum." I am logged into my account and everything. I just wrote the post yesterday, and it is my post, so I don't have a clue what the problem could be.

For reference, my username on the site is jgratz.

Hello,

It looks like your post on the forums was deleted by a moderator.

The reason for this is that we do not allow posts that refer to downloading games protected by IP laws from non-official digital distribution platforms, and we do not provide support for such cases. This is mentioned in forum rule #0 here:
https://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=17

Please understand, that this is a fundamental rule that protects the existence and normal continuous operation of the ScummVM project.
