iOS Issue “Could not initialize color format.” On starting The 11th Hour

Ios7-arm64-master-7ac9be5c Daily build from 7/16/22 results in a “Could not initialize color format.” Error when attempting to launch The 11th Hour from iOS 15.5 on iPad Pro 11” 2nd Generation.

Thank you for reporting this issue. It was a known issue, but it's good to have a bug report for it so that it is not forgotten.
The issue also affects other games (see for example bug #10500). The iOS port of ScummVM only supports a few color modes compared to other ports.
Bugs #11036 and #11332 were also the same issue, and were fixed in the engines level. The same could be done with 11th Hour (and BS2.5) but ultimately it would be good to extend the color mode support in the iOS backend itself.
