GRIM: Grim Fandango crashes after loading a save (MAC)

Description
I'm running original 2CD Windows version of Grim Fandango in MacOS 10.13.6 High Sierra using ScummVM 2.5.1. The game consistently freezes and/or crashes after loading a save.
Other things to note:
- I've tested ScummVM 2.6.0git with the same result.
- Saves created in ResidualVM app CAN be loaded in ScummVM 2.5.1 just fine. Only the saves created via ScummVM cause the crash when loaded back in.
- Other games seems to save/load correctly.

Attached save indeed has corrupted Lua state, ASAN reports various issues.
I tried 2.8.1/2.5.0 release build, 2.5.0 source, also tried current trunk code. I'm not able reproduce issue on macOS 15. I was able only test 64 bit build.
I tried use saves between ScummVM <-> ResidualVM, no issue.
Due it's very specific case, and old report, none else reported on other system, I'm closing this one as can not pre-produced.
