Tested on ScummVM 2.6.0git5350-ga6a3b324bf5 (Apr 25 2022 04:25:50)
Linux & Apple Sillicon
shardlight.exe: cc447656f408ac32e8443274c3f70c67, 643460198 bytes.
Shardlight (gog version) and Shardlight-demo freeze after you press "New Game on title Screen"
OK on Scummvm Stable 2.5.1

It seems to have been fixed by the recent commits. I can start the game (tried with full version from GOG) without issues.
