I don't get this problem with latest CVS. Maybe it's a 0.5.1 problem, maybe it's a bug of the PocketPC version...

Sure, I'm almost sure it was fixed past 0.5.1 (see scumm/saveload.cpp revision 1.98) - you should recheck with the latest "daily" build available on http://arisme.free.fr/PocketScumm and post the results here.

arisme, I tried again with daily build.. But the problem persists..

I found this also.. When changing the room (screen) , there is music.. Only saved room has no music.

For example: I saved a game in Woodtick.. Loaded it (no music) .. walked in wally's ship/room (no music), walked in woodsmith's room (no music), walked to map (no music? [I'm not sure I didn't wait much but I think no music]), Swamp area (music came back)

Ok, I'll recheck with the latest CVS this week-end now that we solved a little EVC porting problem with Jamieson

When you say you "tried with daily build", do you mean that you made a *new* savegame (while music was playing) and tested it, or are you still testing with the very same savegame? In the latter case it *can't* work because the old savegames simply didn't store the information necessary to resume playing.

Wasn't it only a problem for CD music ? I had my own CE bug which broke the non CD music in 0.5.1, and didn't require a new savegame ... anyway, compiling and trying it today

Don't have this problem with the latest CVS, I'll post it during the next days on PocketMatrix for more tests ...
