If you hit Enter in the main menu of Quest for Glory III while "Quit Game" is selected without the cursor hovering over it, it doesn't immediately quit the game. Instead, it closes the game the next time you click on a menu icon (for example, "Play Game").

Thanks for reporting this! I updated the workaround from the earlier bug that crashed on this screen. Fixed in https://github.com/scummvm/scummvm/commit/6abbb67bf8bf4d16f3805b36e48b766e87f4ef5c
