The critical line seems to be "Warning: Cast::loadConfig(): Wrong format. VWCF resource missing!"

Sorry for the external upload, i used it because image upload isnt available on initial form and i was a little confused at the start. Thanks for changing that.

Im new in using ScummVM and didnt found something with "VMCF" on ​https://docs.scummvm.org/en/latest/help/faq.html.
Do you have any hints for me and maybe an example, what is needed for a functional VWCF resource and where this resource should be located?
Ive just tried to add "Physikus" by "Load..." and selecting the corresponding exe from Phyiskus.

oNdsen: That is OK. We try not to use external hosting for bug artifact assets (mainly images) _where possible_ as bugs can sit for some time before a developer looks at them and the external links get broken over time.

The Director engine is still very much a Work in Progress and under development. See:

Support is limited to Director v2 and v3 games with L-Zone being supported in the last stable release:

From your screenshot, I think that game might be Director v7 which I don't think is supported yet. Your game does not seem to be listed on:

I left this bug so that a DIRECTOR engine developer could comment... I am just the janitor here :)

Just let me know if you need the Disk Images. I own both original CD's from 2004.

Hi, I added detection for this particular version.
As digitall said, support for Director v7 titles is still preliminary and
will take some time before the game is usable.

However I'm not closing the report to keep the discussion,
just changing the title

i'm closing this one, Director 7 is still not supported and keeping this bugreport open for an unsupported game doesn't make much sense (considering that there are hundreds of games in the same situation)
