Grim Fandango with ScummVM

Description

Hello,

I tried Android and Windows 10. Scumm doesn't recognize Grim Fandango. Here the copied report:

The game in 'GRIMDATA\' seems to be an unknown game variant.

Please report the following data to the ScummVM team at https://bugs.scummvm.org/ along with the name of the game you tried to add and its version, language, etc.:

Matched game IDs for the grim engine: grim-win

{"VOX0001.LAB", 0, "d304aa402098de5966816c0a11e45816", 388753408},

I read, that I need to put Patch 101 in Grimdata directory. I did. Then I read, that there have to be all LOG Files. In what way I have to rename the duoble LOG files from Disc B (or 2)? Do I have to rename the 101 Patch?

In ads Grim should ran now in ScummVM. Can you solve this problem.

Thank you very much,
Stephan

Hmm... If VOX0001.LAB is that big, that suggests that you're using the remastered version of Grim Fandango which isn't supported at this time. I'm not involved with that engine myself, so I couldn't say how much is missing. At least in the development version, the remastered version is detected and starts but seemed almost unplayable.

For comparison, VOX0001.LAB in my original English version is 57,993,159 bytes, while the one from the remastered version (Linux version on Steam) is 382,736,476 bytes. Not identical to yours, but pretty close.

Indeed, Remastered Grim Fandango is not supported, only the original
