Game Version: German CD
In the game, after returning the heart to Glottis and watching the cutscene, all objects (signpost, bone wagon, Manny and Glottis) were invisible. Exiting the bone wagon with Esc and managing to run with invisible Manny to another location fixed the issue.
I do use OpenGL with Shaders.

confirm this happens with OpenGL with Shaders
no issue with opengl or software renderer
