SCUMM: Monkey Island EGA: MT32 episode presentation music loops where it shouldn't

I have noticed that, only when using MT32 emulation for music in Monkey Island EGA original version, music in the "PART 1: The three trials" loops and loops until a key or mouse button is pressed to proceed with the episode.
This only happens if you let the full dialog between Guybrush and the lookout to complete before the episode announcement screen appears.
