ScummVM: 2.5.1pre37
Version: German Floppy
When I right at the start of the game just for fun entered the character creation in Vertigo and then exited it, to my surprise the slime in front of the tavern was back, despite me having killed it a minute earlier.
Since that is not supposed to happen, that tells me that entering character creation for some reason resets the monsters (at least in Vertigo).
