#12969 new defect

GRIM: Rendering difference with OpenGL with shaders

Reported by: eriktorbjorn Owned by:
Priority: low Component: Engine: Grim
Version: Keywords:
Cc: Game: Grim Fandango

Description

I just noticed that with the OpenGL with shaders renderer, there is a thin blue line above the opening of the message tube in the first room. That's not there with the plan OpenGL or TinyGL renderers. See attached screenshots.

I've only tested this under Linux.

I think I saw this always. I think it's precision for z-buffer.

opengl with shaders

this happens with many moving objects: elevator doors, etc.

does not appear in "opengl"
