Hi digitall, so ticket #12786 is for Demo version 1.0.0.7, this ticket is for 1.0.0.8.
Since the Steam page download is not convenient I found a download for 1.0.0.8 on AGS's website which is:

When I try to open it in ScummVM, this is the ID it gives me

This is very similar to #12786 so am closing this in favour of that bug to track this detection addition.
