Description
Whenever an item is clicked and drraged in the environment screen, the pointer automatically reverts to the normal pointer, thus rendering the usage of inventory items impossible. Attaching savegame at the point where you have to give the spiked biscuit to the dog in order to proceed, so you folks can reproduce the bug as well.
Using a scummvm self compiled daily build on Manjaro linux.

Hello. I just started the game and I'm at the same point. from what I have been able to observe, this title does not have direct interactions between the environment and the inventory. Instead, having a certain item in inventory provides new dialog options for carrying out an action. In this case, having the cookie in inventory gave you the "feed" dialog option when you interact with the dog normally.
