BACKENDS: 3DS: MOHAWK: Checkerboard pattern on lower screen in non-video scenes
Platform: New Nintendo 3DS
ScummVM version: commit 78ec256
Description: In Riven, non-video scenes have a faint checkerboard pattern on the lower screen. In scenes where video only occupies a portion of the screen, the video portion will appear normal while the rest of the screen will have the checkerboard pattern. The upper screen never displays checkerboarding. Have not tested with Myst or Myst Masterpiece Edition, but they might have this same issue as well.
Replication: Enter any scene with either no or partial video.

I think this is an inherent issue when performing nearest neighbour downscaling when the source image has previously been dithered. Turning on filtering in the options menu helps to mitigate this issue, but beyond that I don't think there's much that can be done about it.
