Description

Hi,

When I try to run either Backyard Baseball 2001 or 2003 I receive the following message: ERROR: Bad ID 69696869('iihi') found in index file directory!

Step-by-step:

  1. Installed ScummVM 2.2.0
  2. Extracted game files from ISO
  3. "Add game" directed at appropriate "Game" folder from ISO
  4. "Start Game"
  5. Error message results

Language: English
OS: macOS Big Sur v. 11.3.1 on 2013 Macbook Pro

Any help appreciated!

Both work well for me. Could you please provide md5 checksums for 'baseball 2001.*' and 'baseball2003.*' files?

Since both me and the Backyard Online community didn't have any issue of this kind for the last year I guess this is safe to close... This is probably a corrupted version of the game we are dealing with.
