CD has "@1994 ORIGIN Systems, Inc." printed on it.
Just copied to hard drive, not patched and I am the original owner.
Original CD for hard drive, can't tell the version number cause it won't load.

Sorry to bother you. I installed Ultima 8 with Dosbox. I installed the patch from Origin with Dosbox. Now it works.
Having trouble with the mouse, double click settings too fast.

Thanks for filing the info. I don't have an original English CD so I mostly used GOG variants and Japanese CD. I'll add this to the list - I think the unpatched one should be supported, although there may be other bugs because it's mostly untested by me at least.

Added the md5 so at least it will be recognised - can't make any guarantees about how well it works, but please feel free to report other bugs!
