Former ResidualVM games not running on ScummVM 2.3.0git on Raspberry Pi 4

Description

I compiled version 2.3.0git from source using the Master branch for Raspberry Pi 4 using RetroPie (​https://retropie.org.uk/), the former ResidualVM games don't start and all I see is a black screen with mouse pointer movement.
These games run fine on ResidualVM for RPi4
There seems to be a problem with OpenGL. I'm attaching two log files for Escape From Monkey Island and The Longest Journey.

use gles2 instead OpenGL, as system is not OpenGL capable in h/w
