EMI: Chess game makes EMI not respond

The chess players can make the whole game stuck,
if you make the skinny one throw a move a second time.

From the atttached save game, just talk to the skinny player,
wait until he's got a chess piece in his hand and tell him
anything about Brittany.
He'll throw the move, quarrel with the other player
and after that the game is stuck.

NB: Is the tilted head (when idle) of the skinny player intended?

I can load from ResidualVM in-game meu, but can never progress
from there. This is a showstopper, i believe.

I tried save game, you have to wait a moment, but game not stuck.

Sorry to reopen this, but the bug is still there.
I just tried from the attached save game.

You need to make sure that the skinny player *has a chess piece in his hand* and give a remark about Brittany.
Only then will he "throw" a move.
Once he did this the large player will comment on it and a little quarrel will start between the two.
The skinny player will eventually place his piece back on the board and only NOW will the game be stuck.

There is no more interaction possible, no more conversation lines will appear and i'm being left with quitting the game/scummvm.
