EMI: Missing subtitles by default in demo (french/german) — at Initial Version

Description
The french and german versions of the EMI demo defaults to subtitles on by default, and have no menu to enable them (but hotkeys exist).
Preferably those versions of the game should behave as the originals, and have subtitles enabled by default.
