SCI: PQ4 - crash involving subtitles

Description
I've been playing Day 1 with both text/voice enabled, on Day 2 (during the intro with chief police) subtitles suddenly disappears and when i tried to turn them back - ScummVM crashed.
PS - latest stable dev build 2.2.0pre13

Could you please add a save game just before day 2?
It would make checking/fixing this behaviour much easier.

Well, its just start of the game, talk to female cop and new day begins..(and subtitles turned off). Save file attached (named Start)

The situation you described is fixed in https://github.com/scummvm/scummvm/pull/2463 (*)
However, by reading the code, I expect it to happen also in other scenerio(s).
Therefore, let's keep this issue open, and wait until you'll encounter the problem again.
(and please supply a savegame)
BTW,
I haven't played PQ4 for maybe 25 years, so I don't really remember it. However, I had to do more things to finish the first day. But it's not really important...
(*) If you prefer, I can upload a compiled version with the fix.

The aforementioned pull request has been merged now, so this has been fixed
Trying second time - no crashes, but subtitles still automatically turned off after Day 1.
