Description (last modified by )
Games force-close on the Windows machine without a soundcard.
Affected versions of ScummVM are 2.1.0, 2.1.1, 2.1.2, and even dev-version 2.2.0
Game force-closes together with ScummVM and without any error message, windows just disappear.
Games tested:
- GOG version of Beneath a steel sky 1.0 (20270)
- The Legend of Kyrandia 1 (CD DOS)
Both games do force-close after the game's intro.

All tests were made on Windows XP Sp3 inside of Virtual Box 5.2.18

See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.

I do not see the way to completely disable the processing of the sound in ScummVM via its graphical interface.
