Until ScummVM solves its portability issues, please consider not just a command parameter for an alternative configuration but also one for an alternative log.
It will make bug reports much easier, especially for version reporting, due to the daily builds' lack of special command line parameters such as "-v" (while --conf works perfectly there, so maybe so should the requested --log).
