Description

The background music (or noises) stops, when a FMV sequence is played in the german version of the game. The sound of the video sequence is ok!
The english version loops background music in ScummVM (and it does in the german version played under DOS-Box)

Hello, what is a specific scene where this happens in the game and is the most noticeable?

It would also help to know which English version you are comparing against, since there are several with different video files. Could you post the contents of the VERSION file (it's just at text file) and whether or not you got it from GOG?

Never mind! I just realized I accidentally fixed this a few days ago.

The game pauses music before playing videos when the detail level is low, which means that it failed the speed test when loading the game. We patch that out, but the existing patch was incompatible the German version. I recently replaced it with one that works with all versions: 32aca7a79fe727bf8bffe9ea30f1fc45bc7ed0a8

This is fixed in the latest development build, but your existing saved games will still do this, since they contain the low speed test result. If you start a new game then the music will no longer pause.
