ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING THE SIMON THE SORCERER CD DEMO.

Occasionally during interactions with characters or items, various
action selections intermittently result in Simon responding with
a partial audio fragment preceding the proper audio clip.
Currently there is no patch available to correct this problem.

The Simon the Sorcerer CD Demo will not run properly with Gravis
Ultrasound sound card products. We recommend that users with
Gravis sound cards do not install this demo.

There should be a 'simon.gme' file too, if it is the CD demo.

Thanks for the quick feedback.
Yes, simon.gme is in the directory as well. (8 files total)
Date = September 2, 1994.
Size = 1,236,298 bytes
MD5 for the first 5000 bytes = a8c91fe4f316b3e047d6782811eb1b70

The CD also contained simon.voc, effects.voc, gamepc, and mt_fm.ibk, matching the list of files on the Datafiles web page.
