"Cancellable" Error Message Not Cancellable

Opening SCUMMVM results in an error message that the display resolution (640x480 after opening SCUMMVM) is incorrect and should be set to 1920 x 1080. This message has radio buttons allowing either "Close" or "Do not show this message again".

But the SCUMMVM cursor moves UNDER the error message, so the radio buttons cannot be reached. Consequently this message appears every time SCUMMVM is opened. Is there any way to activate the "Do not show this message again" button?

Also can you specify on which system you are running ScummVM? Is this Windows?
And does ScummVM starts in fullscreen or in a window?

I am not aware of such a message in ScummVM itself, so I am wondering if it might come from the system, and maybe the issue with the mouse is that ScummVM grabs it (which it does by default in fullscreen mode). If that is the case you can release the mouse by pressing Ctrl+m.
