Build on ubuntu64
The stick is to be waved in the season exhibit thing to get the lemon and speech part. If you drop it at a certain spot it will hover. You can retrieve it just fine and put it in your inventory. If you don't however, and you turn away when you turn back it will be gone.
If you then go to the SGT rooms where there are more sticks you cannot get another, it says the glass is unbreakable.
Not sure if in original or not.
